Tranquility and Peace of MindThis world is a hectic and stressful place, and stress can make your life miserable, as well as destroy your life. Yoga can have a profound peaceful emotional impact. People who do these exercises daily, almost always report a new sense of well being. They talk about it creating a wonderful "place" that they go to internally, that brings peace and tranquility. Over time, the effect grows, eventually leading to deep inner peace. Before I started doing these exercises, I was always stressed out, and often depressed. I cant say it will do the same for you of course, but now Im relaxed and calm, even in stressful situations. That in turn changed how I interacted with the world, with other people, and in my close relationships. And that improved my life in general! |
